The Center for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E Center) of the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor (University of Montenegro), as part of the activities of the Erasmus+ project BLUEWBC is organizing an event called A "Week of BLUE CHALLENGE" which will be held from November 23rd to 29th, 2022 in Kotor. On the first day, over 60 participants listened to guest lectures. The co-organizers of the event are the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis Niksic. Support in the implementation of the competition was provided by representatives of other partner organizations on this project.
In addition to the introductory presentations and welcoming speeches of the vice-dean for teaching, Prof. Dr. Milena Dzeverdanovic Pejovic and project manager Prof. Dr. Danilo Nikolic, the lectures were held by colleagues from the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro (Tanja Radusinovic) and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis Niksic (Anja Grabovica). Aleksandar Janicic from J Consulting Group spoke about the beginnings of work on startups, while Dr. Bojana Femic Radosavovic gave a presentation on the ongoing competitions of the Innovation Fund via the zoom application. The last guest lecture on the first day was related to entrepreneurial trends and ideas, so the participants had the opportunity to actively participate in the presentation of Mr. Radivoje Drobnjak from the Science Technology Park Montenegro.
During the second day of the "BLUE CHALLENGE Week", there will be another guest lecture by Mrs. Nikolina Brajovic from the company B Solutions, who will talk about the challenges faced by young entrepreneurs in innovation ecosystems in Montenegro.
On this occasion, we would like to thank the guest lecturers for their interesting lectures in the field of blue economy, innovation and entrepreneurship, which stimulated students and young innovators to develop their ideas in the right way and who will present them with their supervisors at the competition on the final day of this event.
