Due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, as almost all countries were locked down, it was
impossible to follow the project activities as foreseen in the project document. Therefore, the
activity that was foreseen to be carried out in Vilnius, Lithuania, was organized online using the
Zoom platform. The meeting was hosted by Milena Medineckiene, Vilnius Gediminas Technical
University - VGTU, and attended by representatives from all partner institutions.
The meeting started with an introduction from each partner on their COVID-19 situation and
working status. All partners confirmed that universities were closed and the work was shifted
online. Next, Milena Medineckiene made a presentation on VGTU innovation and
entrepreneurship promotion activities, including organization of different entrepreneurship
competitions, study modules, cooperation with business, entrepreneurship promotion activities,
etc., followed by a virtual tour through VGTU Creativity and Innovation Centre 'LinkMenu
fabrikas' by Lina Peciure.
The meeting continued with presentations from representatives from P4 (University of Tirana)
and P2 (University of Montenegro) related to WP7 (Dissemination and Exploitation), where the
Dissemination and Exploitation Plan, the Facebook page opened and other dissemination
activities held by two institutions were presented and discussed. Next it was presented the work
related to the WP1: State of the Art on I&E in Blue Economy, DEV 1.1: Overview of
educational programs for I&E in EU, by P3 (University of Vlore), which will be the basis for gap
analysis and recommendations.
In the capacity of lead partner (NTNU), Oyvind Andersen presented project management issues
and it was decided to hold another online meeting considering the pandemic situation and the
inability to travel among countries. Other issues related to next activities and related deadlines
were also discussed and agreed among partners.
